NORTH BY NORTHWEST TOUR
Seattle - Vancouver - Victoria Island

DAY ONE: Easy connections from
San Diego and Orange County Amtrak stations in to Los Angeles.
Board Amtrak’s Coast Starlight in private, standard sleeper
accommodations.
A continental breakfast is included in the
Pacific Parlor Car. Daylight travel today is along 130 miles
of coastline then through San Luis Obispo, Salinas and San
Jose. Lunch service begins at 11:30AM and continues until 1:30PM.
Wine tasting seminar is held in the Pacific Parlor car. Dinner
service begins at 5:00PM and continues until 8:00PM. All meals
are included for sleeper car passengers. The Coast Starlight
also has an observation car with seats turned toward the windows.
This car also has a snack bar and bar service available in
the lower level. Movies are shown on both levels of the car.
Overnight on board.
DAY
TWO: Daylight travel today begins in Klamath
Falls, Oregon and follows the Columbia River then through
Salem and Eugene,
Oregon with views of Mount St. Helens and Crater Lake. Continue
north through Portland, Olympia and Tacoma arriving in Seattle
at approximately 9:30PM. We will be met and transferred the
short distance to Pioneer Square and the Pioneer Square
Hotel for overnight.
DAY
THREE: Mid morning sightseeing tour of Greater
Seattle with stops at Queen Elizabeth Park, the Salmon
Locks and Chinatown.
The tour lasts approximately two hours giving you plenty of
time to explore Pike’s Market, Pioneer Square and downtown
Seattle. Take the monorail from Downtown to Space Needle
Park. It runs
every 10 minutes and takes 15 minutes each way. There is an
excellent restaurant at the top of Space Needle that revolves
and offers beautiful views of Seattle. Your tour guide can
assist you with reservations. Overnight Pioneer Square Hotel.
DAY
FOUR: Early morning transfer the short distance
to the Seattle Amtrak station to board Amtrak’s Cascade
train for a beautiful ride through northern Washington
and in to downtown Vancouver. We will arrive at 11:30AM.
We will transfer to the Landmark Hotel for an included
lunch in their beautiful revolving restaurant on the
41st floor. After lunch we will have a two hour sight
seeing tour of Vancouver including Stanley Park, Gas
Town and Chinatown. This evening we will board the B.C.
Ferry for another beautiful ride along the Straits Of
Juan De Fuca. The Ferry has a cafeteria style restaurant
on board that offers both hot and cold entrée’s
and the food is very good. We will arrive in Victoria
in the early evening. Overnight at the James Bay Inn.
DAY
FIVE: Day free in Victoria. The James Bay
Inn is walking distance of the Harbor, the British Museum,
Empress Hotel, Crystal Gardens and lots of English Pubs.

DAY
SIX: Mid morning tour to famous Butchart
Gardens. Late afternoon ride on the Victoria Clipper
for a smooth and comfortable ride back to Seattle. Overnight
again at Pioneer Square Hotel.
DAY
SEVEN: Early afternoon transfers to the
Seattle airport for your *flight Home. Two breakfasts,
three lunches and two dinners included.
